Objective: To explore the prevention and control of respiratory hospital infection in order to ensure the safety of patients and improve the overall quality of departments. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on the incidence of nosocomial infections in 130 patients in the Department of Respiratory Medicine of the Ma Center Central Hospital, Cangnan County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province from October 2013 to November 2014. The risk factors for nosocomial infections were summarized and targeted preventive measures . A total of 120 patients admitted from December 2014 to December 2015 were enrolled in the observation group. Preventive measures against nosocomial infections were implemented. The prevalence of nosocomial infections in hospital before and after the implementation of nosocomial infection was compared. The awareness rate of nosocomial infection and patient satisfaction were compared. Results: After the implementation of nosocomial infection prevention and control, the incidence of nosocomial infection decreased from 10% to 2.5% (P <0.05). The observation group had significantly higher knowledge of nosocomial infection than that before implementation (P0.05) ; Patients’ satisfaction with medical work increased significantly (P <0.05). Conclusion: The control and management of respiratory hospital infection is a process management. It is necessary to carry out reasonable and standardized management of all aspects of the hospital, to strengthen the training of medical staff in the prevention of nosocomial infection and to supervise the medical personnel to strictly follow the rules and regulations to reduce the spread of infection Way to ensure patient safety.
