Unhappy infants and young children cried endlessly, often upset the young parents, helpless. Now the quiet rise of infant and child psychotherapy in the United States seeks to relieve the troubles of the modern family. America’s infants and young children’s psychological care industry has sprouted as early as the late 40s. The early 70s, the United States Institute of Psychiatry set up a special research group, infants and young children for psychological disorders caused by up to 10 years of follow-up observation and research. Currently, the United States has 25 to 30 clinics and hospitals for psychological treatment of infants and young children.
