清季著名爱国报人彭翼仲(诒孙,1864—1921)主办的《启蒙画报》,不仅是北京最早的画报,即在我国早期画报中,亦属“销行甚广”,颇具影响者。然而在既往的记述与研究中,关于该画报的种种情况,诸家所述却较乱,或语焉不详,或言而多误。就同一作者观,每后先不一;就同一文献论,又皆此确彼谬。因考其原委,俾澄清歧说,以求其实。
Not only was Beijing’s earliest pictorial newspaper, the Illustrated Pictorial of China, sponsored by the famous patriotic posterist Peng Yizhong (Sunzu 1864-1921) in the Qing Dynasty, namely, an influential person in the early pictorial history in China. However, in the past accounts and studies, the various descriptions of the pictorial representations are more chaotic, vague, or erroneous. The concept of the same author, after each different; the same document on the literature, but also all true and false. For his part, to clarify the differences and seek truth from facts.
