张晓刚个展时间:2014年5月14日至7月12日地点:佩斯画廊张晓刚是最早为海外所认识和熟悉的亚洲当代艺术家之一。他将来自历史与现实、文化与社会、集体记忆和私人回忆的典型意象重组、并置,将一代中国人的历史经验予以普遍化并赋予其新的生命力。在本次新作展览中,艺术家以油画的形式,结合西方超现实主义的绘画语言和中国古典艺术的意象,以充满神秘感的场景,将纸上艺术微妙、空灵的特性发挥到极致。
Zhang Xiaogang Solo Exhibition Time: May 14, 2014 to July 12, 2014 Venue: Pace Gallery Zhang Xiaogang is one of the first Asian contemporary artists known and familiar to overseas. He reorganized the typical images of history and reality, culture and society, collective memory and private memories, and heralded the historical experiences of a generation of Chinese people and given them new vitality. In this new exhibition, the artist takes the form of oil painting, combining the surrealistic painting language in the West and the image of Chinese classical art, to the scene full of mystery, to maximize the delicate and ethereal character of art on paper.
