有机锡类化合物分为一烃基锡(R_1SnX_3)、二烃基锡(B_2SnX_2)、三烃基锡(R_3SnX_3)和四烃基锡(R_4Sn)四大类。式中R多为烷基:X多为卤素,氧或有机酸类。三烃基锡和四烃基锡主要损害中枢神经系统,毒性最大;其次为二烃基锡,主要引起肝胆系统的损伤;一烃基锡毒性最小。目前,工业中最常用的是二烷基锡类化合物。据估计,全世界1986年有机锡总产量将达63,000吨,其中70%以二烷基锡的形式作为聚氯乙烯塑料的光热稳定剂(成品中约含0.5~2.0%).另外,二烷基锡可用作聚氨基甲酸乙酯泡沫塑料催化剂、橡胶熟化剂、抗氧化剂等。
Organotins are classified into four groups, R 1 Sn X 3, B 2 Sn X 2, R 3 Snn 3 and R 4 Sn. In the formula, R is mostly alkyl: X is mostly halogen, oxygen or organic acids.
