Objective To observe the impact of health education on maternal and infant health in pregnant women. Methods 72 cases of expectant mothers were divided into experimental group and control group according to simple randomization method, with 36 cases in each group. The control group did not accept the pregnant women’s school health education, the experimental group received the pregnant women’s school health education. Compare the mode of delivery, maternal complications and neonatal status. Results The cesarean section rate, the incidence of complications during pregnancy and childbirth, and the incidence of adverse neonatal outcomes in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The health education of pregnant women in schools can better ensure the maternal and child health during childbirth, reduce the rate of cesarean section and reduce the incidence of complications during pregnancy, which deserves clinical application.
