筑起黄金台 《战国策·燕策》记载:战国时,新即位不久的燕昭王,为报齐国曾经灭燕之仇,请相国郭隗推荐人才。当时,郭隗没正面回答燕昭王的问题,而是先讲了一个故事:古时有一国君派使者带上大量金银去买千里马。使者在寻找千里马途中,见一群人围着一匹死马叹惜,这使者觉得奇怪,过去问是怎么回事,在场者告诉他说:这是一匹“日行千里,奔驰如飞”的千里马,死得太可惜。使者见此景,竟用“五百金”买下那死马的骨头,运回去见国君。
