“北京育才小學是怎樣進行紀律教育的”一文,在“人民教育”三卷一期发表以後,收到了兩封讀者來信,这兩封信一方面認為“實在不錯”,“系統地介紹出来,是很值得我們學習的”;但另一方面也提出幾點不同的意见,希望給以解答。這篇文章能够引起讀者的重视,並給予討論和批評,我們感到十分高興,願意再提出如下意見和同志們研究。一、关於“事實教训”方法問題 有同志認為這个方法,“對學生的刺激和壓力太大”;認為“比体罰不輕,有礙學生的身心發育”。所謂“事實教訓”,就是“當學生犯了錯誤時,就根据他犯錯誤的這件事實,給以實際的教訓”。這种方法很自然地與实际結合、與思想教育結合,適當地運用,不但不會發生偏差,而且效果很好。在蘇聯也採用這方法的:“惩罚必须在學生的
