艺术是在人类有了审美观念以后才产生的。寻找华夏文学艺术的源头,首当其冲的是要在一鳞半爪的文字记录的痕迹中,结合考古学的发现和现有的具体史料为基础,尽量还原初文学的原貌。经过文字定型后的歌谣与神话对于探讨华夏文学艺术起源的原因以及还原原始初文学的面貌,有着不可忽视的作用。文学艺术起源于原始初民的生活需要。原始初民的审美品位已经相当成熟了,在生产生活需要的基础上产生的精神、审美需要越来越自觉,文学艺术于是不带任何功利色彩地自然产生了。
Art came into being after humans had aesthetic ideas. In order to find the source of Chinese literature and art, the first thing to be done is to restore the original appearance of the early literary texts on the basis of the scant records of the cursory records and the archaeological discoveries and the existing concrete historical materials. The ballads and myths that have been shaped through writing have a significant role to play in exploring the causes of the origins of Chinese literature and art as well as in reducing the appearance of original primitive literature. Literature and art originated from the needs of primitive peoples. The aesthetic qualities of the original people of the early age have become quite mature. The spirits produced on the basis of the needs of production and life are more and more conscious of their aesthetic needs. Literature and art thus naturally arise without any utilitarian color.
