中国剧院最近演出的《大明魂》,是一出新编的以唱工为主的历史戏。唱腔设计包罗了[西皮]、[反西皮]、[二黄]、[反二黄]以及程派唱腔中未出现过的[高拨子],确实丰富多采、婉转动听,使京剧爱好者得到一定程度的满足。我也觉得这是一次音乐美的享受。现在,且就剧本问题,谈一点我的感受。以我国历史上伟大的科学家搬上京剧舞台,《大明魂》或许还是创举。仅就这一不苟媚俗的创新精神,已是难能可贵。戏的主题在暴露黑暗的封建统治下,科学与纲常之间的斗争。这个意图,也是值得称许的。历史剧的一个主要原则是重大的事件和与此有关的人物必须符合历史的真实,并在服从这一原则
