Starting with the introduction of the U.S. counter-terrorism plan and the U.S. Patriot Act, it explores the impact of the act on the library and the protests in the library. Finally, it looks to the future and believes that the emergence of more coercive measures in the field of cyber-regulatory Library users lead to less freedom and less choice.
