北京2008年奥运会吉祥物一经面世,立即引起广泛的关注。一件(套)设计作品能够受到广泛的关注和评论,这是该件作品的幸事,也是设计界的幸事。本期[设计批评]刊载的几篇文章聚焦“福娃”,分别从造型元素、接受心理、借鉴方式等角度探讨了该形象的得与失。我们能充分理解“福娃”设计者的匠心,但我们同时认为,在探索民族化设计的道路上,来自不同角度的评价以及善意的提醒,对艺术设计的良性发展也是必要的。
Once the mascot of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games was launched, it immediately aroused widespread concern. It is the blessing of this piece of work and the blessing of the design community that a piece of (set) design work can receive wide attention and commentary. Several articles published in this issue of Design Criticism focus on “Fuwa”, discussing the gains and losses of the image from the perspective of stylistic elements, psychology of acceptance, and ways of reference. We fully understand the ingenuity of the “Fuwa” designer, but at the same time, we also think that the evaluation from different perspectives and the reminder of goodwill are necessary for the sound development of art design in the process of exploring the national design.
