Microsatellite (MS) refers to a DNA sequence that is repeated in tandem in units of a few nucleotides (mostly 2 to 4). Multiple primary lung cancer refers to the occurrence of two or more primary cancers in different parts of one or both sides of the lung with the same or different types of tissues. However, between the tumors No subordination, each tumor has its own separate tumorigenesis. Microsatellite anomalies are closely related to the occurrence and development of recurrent lung cancer. This article reviews: 1 microsatellite concept and mechanism; 2 microsatellite anomalies; 3 the concept and classification of lung cancer recurrence; 4 microsatellites on the early diagnosis of lung cancer recurrence and prognosis of the impact of treatment.
