俞正燮对左丘明的考证,不仅起步早,用功勤,而且其成就和特点非常显著。通过对左丘明的深入细致考证,俞正燮得出的结论是:左丘明姓丘名明,左是其官职;《左传》是春秋左丘明所作;左丘明的故里和墓地在山东肥城。俞正燮对左丘明相关史实的考辨相当有力,结论大多可信,对后世影响也极为深远。应该说,对于确立左丘明是我国传统史学的开创者,并还其历史真实身份来说,俞正燮是一位有功之臣。
Yu Zhengxie Zuo Qiuming textual research, not only started early, hard-working, and its achievements and characteristics are very significant. Through in-depth study of Zuo Qiu-ming, Yu Zheng-sup concluded that Zuoqiu Ming’s name is Ming Ming and left is his official position. Zuo Zhuan was made by Zuo Qiu-ming in Spring and Autumn. Zuo Qiuming’s hometown and cemetery is in Feicheng, Shandong. Yu Zhengxie is quite powerful in the examination of Zuo Qiuming’s relevant historical facts. Most of the conclusions are credible and have far-reaching impact on future generations. It should be said that Yu Zhengxie is a meritorious deed for establishing Zu Qiu-ming as the founder of traditional Chinese history and for his true identity as a historian.
