胡腾舞、胡旋舞,字面意思已确定了其属性,来自西域,以腾跃和旋转为主要特征的舞蹈。通常在花毯上随背景音乐纵情起舞,通过雄壮奔放、刚毅雄健、轻盈迅捷的身姿,展现男性阳刚之气;伴奏以鼓声为节,配以横笛、铜钹、琵琶等乐器演奏。在瓷器上,也常常能见到舞蹈相关的作品。北齐黄釉乐舞图瓷扁壶(图1),1971年出土于河南安阳范粹(官至骠骑大将军、开府仪同三司、凉州刺史)墓,现藏河南博物院,高20厘米,皮囊壶造型,双面模印五人组合式胡腾舞场
