《文心雕龙·征圣》中引用《易传》、《尚书》之言,将“正言”、“体要”作为写好文章的基本规范。“正言”的确切涵义是指用准确的语言表述思想内容,是讲的语言表达问题,属于文风的范畴。和“体要”合起来,相当于“风骨”中“风”的涵义,是要求作文表述准确贴切、要言不烦,而不是指思想内容的正确。“正言”的内涵可以通过对《易传》原文、“正言”与“体要”的关系及与“正言”对立现象的分析推求而得。刘勰引用《论语》中“异端”一语只是用来借指与优良文风相对立的不良文风,不是袭用孔子原意。
“Wen Xin Diao Long · Zheng San” quoted “Yi Chuan”, “Shang Shu” words, the “Orthographic”, “Body” as the basic norms of writing the article. The exact meaning of “正言 ” means that the expression of thoughts in an accurate language is a matter of linguistic expression and a category of writing style. And “body ” together, the equivalent of “Fenggu ” in the “wind ” meaning, is to require the composition of the expression is appropriate, not to say not annoying, rather than the content of the idea is correct. The meaning of “正言” can be derived from the analysis of the relationship between the original text of Yi Zhuan, the relationship between “正言” and “体 要” and the analysis of the opposite of “正言”. Liu Xie quotes the term “heresy” in The Analects just to refer to the negative style of writing that is opposed to the fine style of writing, rather than using the original intention of Confucius.
