传统教学观念认为,化学学科和人文精神是不相关的,人文知识和化学知识分别属于两类不同性质的学科,所以,人文精神和科学精神只能在这两类学科中分别得到培养和发展。然而,对化学学科许多内容和方法深入分析后发现,人文精神并不是孤立地存在于人文学科范畴内。科学的发展,并不局限于研究对象本身所发生的进步和变化,新的科学知识一旦进入人们的认知结构,必然会同原有的知识结构发生作用,从而使原有的思想观念,价值观念以至整个文化传统发生变化,使人类能够重新定位自己,从而拥有更为深刻的人文观念,为人的生命寻找更有意义的人文价值。
The traditional teaching idea holds that chemistry and humanism are irrelevant, and that humanities knowledge and chemical knowledge belong to two kinds of subjects of different nature respectively. Therefore, humanistic spirit and scientific spirit can only be cultivated and developed respectively in these two kinds of disciplines.
