刘鹗是清末小说家,致力于数学、医学、水利、音乐等,并纵览百家,喜欢收集书画碑帖、金石甲骨。《刘鹗集》是百年来第一次将刘鹗各类著作材料汇集在一起的一部专集,也是目前唯一的一部刘鹗著作集。它既反映了当时文人的风貌,又显现出时代特色,堪称研究刘鹗的集大成著作。该书共收入刘鹗在河工、数学、医药、文学、古文字学、音乐、哲学、书法等方面的作品近十种。
Liu Xie is a novelist in the late Qing Dynasty devoted to mathematics, medicine, water conservancy, music and so on. He also looks at hundreds of books and collections of calligraphy and painting inscriptions and stone inscriptions. “Liu Xie Ji” is the first collection of all kinds of Liu Xie materials in a hundred years together, is also the only one set of Liu Xie’s writings. It not only reflects the style of the literati at that time, but also reveals the characteristics of the times, which is a masterpiece of Liu Xie’s study. The book includes a total of nearly ten works by Liu Xie in river engineering, mathematics, medicine, literature, ancient writing, music, philosophy and calligraphy.
