作为下一代互联网的核心技术,IPv6近年来发展十分迅速。继中国开始建设全球最大的IPv6实验网——CNGI之后,中国已经在下一代互联网方面迈出实质性步伐。尤其是在目前3G及下一代网络越来越成为信息通信行业关注热点的情况下,业界对于IPv6与下一代网络的关系、如何实现从IPv4到IPv6的平滑过渡、IPv6对未来网络产业的影响等各方面的探讨也是越来越热烈。在这种形势下,第五届“全球IPv6高峰论坛”不久将隆重召开。今年峰会的主题为“IPv6助力新网络”,将就IPv6相关技术最新发展、IPv6网络及应用设备、政府及运营商部署、IPv6商业模式及案例等展开研讨。随着IPv6的不断升温,相信我们对IPv6的投资及关注也将进入新的阶段。为此,本期的“新电信沙龙”推出专题,针对网络演进与IPv6发展话题,特邀中国网通集团公司副总工程师马妍、中国电信集团北京研究院副院长赵慧玲及天地互连信息技术有限公司总裁刘东等几位IPv6方面的权威人士,分别从不同角度就网络演进与IPv6发展及IPv6商用化进程中的相关问题展开深入分析与探讨。
As the core technology of the next generation Internet, IPv6 has developed rapidly in recent years. After China started building CNGI, the largest experimental IPv6 network in the world, China has made substantial strides in the next generation of the Internet. Especially in the current situation that 3G and next generation networks are becoming hot spots in the information and communication industry, how can the industry realize the smooth transition from IPv4 to IPv6 and the impact of IPv6 on the future network industry in terms of the relationship between IPv6 and NGN? Various aspects of the discussion is also more and more enthusiastic. In this situation, the fifth “Global IPv6 Summit” will be held soon.
