《中国大百科全书·新闻出版》卷(中国大百科全书出版社1990年12月版)没有收录“宏观报道”这个词。本文说的“宏观报道”是相对“微观报道”而言。后者是指那种反映一人一事或一较小单位的新闻稿,前者是指那种反映全局的新闻稿。“宏观”是英文的意译,它源出于希腊文,原意是“大”。《人民日报》副总编辑李仁臣和记者凌志军、贾建舟采写的《登泰山更知天下阔——从山东看改革发展稳定的关系》(载1994年1月24日《人民日报》)便是典型的宏观报道。 笔者认为,以《人民日报》为代表的党报应该更加重视宏观报道,不论是在宣传领域的拓宽、题材的选择、角度的选取方面,还是表现手法的多样、版面
“Encyclopedia of China Press and Publication” volume (China Encyclopedia Press December 1990 version) does not include the word “macro coverage.” The “macro coverage” described in this article is relative to “micro coverage.” The latter refers to press releases that reflect one person or a smaller unit, the former referring to the press release that reflects the whole picture. “Macroscopic” is a free translation of English. It originates from the Greek language and is intended to mean “big.” The People’s Daily deputy editor-in-chief Li Renchen and journalists Ling Zhijun and Jia Jianzhou have written “Dengtai Mountain knows more about the world - from the perspective of reform and development in Shandong Province” (People’s Daily, January 24, 1994) Macro report.
