语码转换作为一种交际策略,从模因认知的角度,在语言模因复制、变异及筛选的过程中所体现出的特性与顺应论中的变异性、商讨性及顺应性等特征极其相符。在结合新加坡电影《小孩不笨2》的对白分析中,对言语交际中交际双方在语言形式的选择、意识程度及交际目的等方面的动态顺应性有了更进一步的了解。交际双方在特定语境中有意识、主动地选择此语言模因而非彼语言模因,最关键在于该模因须与当前的语境相适应,以此传播该模因,从而达到交际的成功。
