The so-called white-layer structure refers to the kind of surface corrosion by the ordinary corrosive, under general optical microscope was white. Generally believed that the white layer structure is characterized by hard corrosion, high hardness and high wear resistance. However, the microstructure of the white layer changes with the original structure and the conditions of the white layer.
