30年来,宁夏依托黄河建设了诸多高扬程多梯级扬水工程,在干旱带发展了13.33万hm2的生态绿洲,为100多万人生产生活和脱贫致富提供了保障。然而黄河水高含沙量也给扬水工程正常运行带来诸如,前池泥沙淤积、水泵磨损、泵站装置效率下降、供水成本增加等突出的问题。通过对宁夏最有代表的红寺堡和固海扩溉扬水工程泵站前池泥沙淤积状况的量测,分析了实际工程中前池形式与泥沙淤积形态和规律,提出了多泥沙河流条件下,前池形式应优选紧缩性侧向进水或圆形进水。
