环境友好型社会理念是人们在处理人与自然关系的实践与反思中逐步形成的。环境友好型社会,就是全社会都采取有利于环境保护的生产方式、生活方式、消费方式,建立人与环境良性互动的关系。反过来,良好的环境也会促进生产、改善生活、实现人与自然和谐。建设环境友好型社会,是以胡锦涛为总书记的党中央紧密结合我国国情,借鉴国际先进发展理念,着力解决我国经济发展与资源环境矛盾的一项重大战略决策,对于全面落实科学发展观,不断提高资源环境保障能力,实现国民经济又快又好发展具有重要意义。建设环境友好型社会必须坚持科学发展观,建立科学决策体系,大力发展循环经济,切实保护环境,积极倡导环境友好的消费方式,大力发展和应用环境友好的科学技术,不断培育环境友好的文化氛围。
