在当前企业改制过程中,有些企业特别是困难企业的经营者,不顾国家的职工退休制度,采取各种方式,试图让职工提前退休。这实际上是一种饮鸠止渴的短期行为。如任其漫延,不仅会使一批尚未丧失劳动能力的职工过早离开劳动岗位,减少社会财富的来源,还会对十分脆弱的养老保险基金造成很大的冲击,更会影响目前正在进行的统一养老保险制度的大业。国务院有关领导也明确指出,即使是试点城市的破产企业职工提前5年退休,也要面对现实,慎重处理。这里刊出的3篇短文从不同的角度阐述了提前退休带来的负面效应,应引起我们高度重视。必须严格按政策办事,坚决刹住这股提前退休风。
