INTRODUCTION The establishment of an intellectual property court to promote judicial reform of intellectual property in China, unify the standards of judicial adjudication of intellectual property rights and strengthen the judicial protection of intellectual property rights is a landmark event in the judicial protection of intellectual property rights in China since 2014. The “Decision of the CPC Central Committee and the Central Government on Several Important Issues concerning the Overall Deepening of the Reform” passed by the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee in November 2013 put forward the need to ’strengthen the application and protection of intellectual property rights, improve the incentive mechanism for technological innovation and explore the establishment of an intellectual property court’ . On August 31, 2014, the Tenth Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Twelfth National People’s Congress passed the "Resolution on the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress on Relevant Issues Concerned in Beijing, Shanghai,
