太阳塔是天文工作者用来观测和研究太阳物理变化的光学仪器.本文主要介绍65cm太阳塔的计算机控制以及数据采集存储等设计思想和实现方法.为了提高该仪器的自动化水平,采用了PDP 11/24计算机作为控制机和数据采集,并控制太阳象的扫描、曝光时间选择,使用RETICON(光电耦合器件)和Vidicon Camera System(光导摄象管摄象机系统)实现太阳象的接收送至计算机处理.
