This article describes a mercury level tester that uses it to measure changes in the order of 10-9 radians in the horizontal plane of the gravitational field. The program shown in Figure 1. Pour some mercury in two plastic cups. Mercury and the air above it are connected through pipes 1 and 2 (T1 and T2). Mercury ponds are two metal disks, a and b, which can be screwed down to a distance of 0.5 mm from the mercury. The mercury and disc in the cup form two air gap capacitors C_a and C_b. When the unit is tilted, mercury will flow from one end to the other, changing the level in the cup. This changes the capacitance value. Also changed the circuit readout value.
