王沂孙是南宋末年词坛的一位工于咏物的词人,出身卑微,作品寥落,但在陈廷焯《白雨斋词话》中却获得了极高的称赞。本文从陈廷焯对碧山词的评说切入,进行探源。陈廷焯认为碧山词具有“沉郁雅正”的特点,而“比兴寄托”又是实现碧山词“沉郁雅正”的基本途径。从而进一步分析陈廷焯推崇碧山词的原因。同时,关于陈廷焯对碧山词评价的偏颇之处,本文也有所揭示。
