梅花山,国家A级自然保护区。地处闽西龙岩、上杭、连城三县(市)交界的毗连地带,位于东经116°45′—116°57′,北纬25°16′—18′,总面积17461.3公顷。境内奇峰耸峙,林木葱笼,到处古木参天,遮天蔽日,动植物资源丰富,森林生态比较完整,森林类型界于南亚热带向中亚热带的过渡地带,属森林生态型自然保护区。
