高中文理分科制度是社会理性化的一部分,是从特定历史发展阶段的社会理想模式出发的教育功能体制与权力格局的形式与内容的统一。在社会发展条件许可的情况下,取消高中阶段的文理分科,可以避免学生过早地对学校教育中的自然和社会知识进行筛漏式过滤,本身就是为了建构一个具有高度层次化的教育理性结构,使每个人都能从个性发展出发来了解自然的基本法则与社会的总体构架,且又能在共享知识和文化的基础上共同投入到人类的进步事业之中。一旦打破简单的文理二分结构,不同学科课程之间的各种排列组合将会缔造出复杂多样的个性化人才培养规格。
