邢台钢铁厂有3座215m~3高炉和1座300m~3高炉,其铁水沟一直采用炭素料捣打。用该料制的沟内衬质量差,寿命短,且用人工捣打,工人劳动强度大。故此在300m~3高炉小铁沟上进行了新型沟料的试验,收到了较好的效果。新型沟料的配比为:矾土水泥1份,1~3mm骨料2份,3~6mm骨料1份,混匀后用水和成泥状。用新沟料做铁沟内衬时,不用电夯或人工捣打,只用铁锨将料放入沟内,用抹子抹成沟状光面,一股用煤气在沟表面上烘烤二三十分
