英语阅读属于跨文化的交际活动,除语言因素外,它还受到中、西方文化差异因素的影响。提高中学生阅读能力,需要克服多种影响阅读教学的相关因素,教师对阅读过程的指导要求教师介入学生的阅读过程,对学生在阅读过程中的心理状态、思维方式、阅读方法等加以分析和指导,并对阅读过程给予一定的调控,从而有利于培养学生的阅读技能和阅读习惯,提高阅读水平,也即在阅读教学中注意师生互动。
