Economists debate whether technology has increased productivity.Sociologistsargue whether instant communication has improved or damaged the quality or life。But technology has had a quantifible(可以计量的)impact in at least one area:itis helping to bring home thousands of missing children。
[Elective commenters say: In the past few years, the author once read an article in the “Collective English Reading”, whose title is Missing: 1000,000 Children a Year. It is shocking that so many children are missing in the United States every year! I am somewhat gratified to read this article. With the aid of modern science and technology, there are more and more cases of missing children recovering. This article has a saying, very real: Economists debate whether technology has increased productivity.Sociologistsargue whether instant communication has improved or damaged the quality or life. But technology has had a quantifible (impactable) in at least one area:itis helping to bring home thousands of missing children. However, in the process of reading this article, the author’s heart is still heavy, because this article exposes the chilling darkness of the United States (a world that many people regard as heaven, and a country that is professed as “the kingdom of human rights”). reality! 】
