The world’s understanding of the history of South Africa began roughly with the invasion of the first colonizers of the Dutch in the mid-17th century. Little was known about South Africa during the pre-colonial period, and even imagination failed to penetrate the heavy historic dust and spy on ancient South Africa’s civilization and culture, so that people have formed a false sense of South Africa’s lack of ancient civilization.
