用物理的和表面化学的方法研究了蒙特钴矿床(Mount Cobalt deposit)三种钴矿物的回收,它们是:辉钴矿CoAsS、钴华Co_3(AsO_4)_2·8H_2O和组成近似2CoO·CaO·Fe_2O_3·2As_2O_3·11H_2O的新的钴矿物。用摇床选别辉钴矿矿化的试样,钴的回收率达到80%以上,而用乾式给料磁选含钴华和这种新的钴矿物的试样,钴回收率约为76%。得到的第一磁性精矿钴品位为5.5%,经过再磨和进一步磁选,可以提高品位至含钴14.4%。获知,三种钴矿物中每一种的电泳迁移率(electr-ophoretic mobility)-pH的对应(responses)都是相似的,pH3到10的范围内每种矿物都保持负值,而且在弱碱性pH值时的负值最大。用捕收剂戊基和乙基黄原酸盐,在酸性条件下,捕收剂浓度10~(-2)克分子到10~(-5)克分子时,辉钴矿有效地被浮选;用10~(-3)克分子戊基黄原酸盐时,钴华显示相似的浮选对应(flotation response)。建议这些实验室的选别实际应用到工业过程。
The recovery of three cobalt minerals from the Mount Cobalt deposit has been investigated using physical and surface chemistry methods: Cobalt Cobalt CoAsS, Cobalt Co_3 (AsO_4) _2.8H_2O and Composition 2CoO · CaO · Fe_2O_3 · 2As_2O_3 · 11H_2O new cobalt minerals.
