今天的小学生,大的不过十三四岁,他们幸福地生长在毛泽东时代,是在党和毛主席的关怀下成长起来的;他们对旧社会人们的痛苦生活,对革命先辈为争取今天的幸幅生活而进行的艰苦斗争是缺乏了解的,为了让孩子们知道过去的苦难,认识今天幸福生活的来之不易,我们五(一)六(二)两个中队,曾联合开展了一个“听听过去、看看现在”的少先队活动,对儿童进行阶级教育。首先,我们有意识地深入到儿童中去,和他们聊天。儿童都是喜欢听故事的,我们就讲些自己目击过的旧社会人民生活的苦难事例给他们听。他们都很喜欢听,常常要求我们讲,我们就告诉他们:过去的事情很多,年龄大的人都亲身经历过,我们可以去请他们讲;在很多描写革命斗争的书上也有许多这样的故事,我们可以自己课后去看。于是,我们一方面组织他们出去参观访问,请老年人讲过去的故事;一方面发动大家看革命书籍,《王若飞在狱中》、《和爸爸—起坐牢的日子》、“越扑越旺的烈火》、《红旗飘飘》和《红岩》等等,成了人人争看的书籍。我们又组织孩子访问了敬老院,敬老院的吴老太太给孩子们讲了她的悲惨的身世。吴老太太已经八十
