在“依靠、面向、攀高峰”的科技方针指引下,近几年来江西农业大学认真贯彻了省政府《关于大力开展科技兴农的决定》,组织广大教师和科技人员投入到面向经济建设的主战场。仅1995、1996两年统计数字表明,我校在全省60个县(市)推广科技成果28项,创社会经济效益4.7亿元;举办各类专业培训班597期,培训专业技术人员和农民35168人次,为发展江西农业、促进农村经济、推动科技进步和提高广大农民的科学文化素质作出了自己应有的贡献。
Under the guideline of “relying on, facing and climbing peak”, in recent years, Jiangxi Agricultural University has conscientiously implemented the provincial government's “Decision on Vigorously Promoting Agriculture through Science and Technology,” and has organized vast numbers of teachers and scientific and technological personnel to devote themselves to economic development battlefield. Only statistics for 1995 and 1996 show that our school has promoted 28 scientific and technological achievements in 60 counties (cities) in the whole province, creating a social economic benefit of 470 million yuan. It organized 597 specialized training courses and trained professional and technical personnel and peasants 35,168 person-times, and made due contributions to the development of Jiangxi's agriculture, promoting the rural economy, promoting scientific and technological progress and enhancing the scientific and cultural qualities of the vast number of peasants.
