On October 21, 1990, the international academic conference commemorating the 860th anniversary of Zhu Xi’s birth was held in Wuyi Building, Fuzhou. At the meeting, the “Zhu Zi Academic Journal” co-sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences History Institute, Shangrao Teachers College and Wuyi Mountain International Lanting Academy, "By the widespread concern of Chinese and foreign experts and scholars. Therefore, the editorial department of the journal held a forum for Chinese and foreign experts and scholars to solicit their opinions on the Journal of Zhuzi. Mr. Tsuji Takahashi, a professor at Tsukuba University in Japan, holds the view that the position of Zhu in the history of thoughts is a bridge from pre-Qin to modern times
