研究荔枝核 (Seed of L itchi chinensis Sonn,SL)水和醇两种提取物对血糖、血脂和抗氧化的作用 ,初步阐明其作用机制。方法 以肾上腺素 (Adr)、葡萄糖 (Glu)和四氧嘧啶 (ALX)致高血糖、糖尿病(DM)、正常和高脂动物模型 ,探讨 SL的作用。结果 SL能抑制 Adr、Glu、ALX致动物空腹血糖 (FBG)的升高作用 ;降低 AL X- DM小鼠 FBG,但对正常和高脂动物血清 FBG未见明显影响 ;SL能降低高脂及上述病理模型动物血清 TC和 (或 ) TG,提高 HDL- C含量和 HDL- C/ TC比值 ;对抗 AL X产生的自由基损伤 ,提高血清 SOD含量 ,加速脂质过氧化产物 MDA的清除 ,但对正常动物未见明显影响。在 DM-高脂小鼠模型 ,较大剂量的 SL,与苯乙双胍一样 ,可改善动物血糖、血脂 ,但却加速小鼠的死亡。荔枝核两种提取物所产生药理效应基本一致。结论 初步发现 SL具有类似双胍类降糖药的降糖作用 ,并能调节内、外源性血脂代谢紊乱 ,还具有抗氧化作用。提示 SL能用于治疗 DM,但在重症糖尿病患者则应以慎用
The effects of water and alcohol extracts from Seed of Litchi chinensis Sonn (SL) on blood glucose, blood lipids, and anti-oxidation were studied to clarify the mechanism of action. METHODS: The effects of SL were explored with adrenal (Adr), glucose (Glu), and alloxan (ALX) induced hyperglycemia, diabetic (DM), normal, and high fat animal models. Results SL could inhibit the increase of fasting blood glucose (FBG) induced by Adr, Glu, and ALX; decrease the FBG of AL X-DM mice, but had no significant effect on serum FBG of normal and high-fat animals; SL could reduce high fat and The serum TC and/or TG of the pathological model animal mentioned above increased the HDL-C content and the HDL-C/TC ratio, counteracted the free radical damage caused by AL X, increased the serum SOD content, and accelerated the clearance of lipid peroxidation product MDA. No obvious effect on normal animals. In the DM-high-fat mouse model, larger doses of SL, like phenformin, improved blood glucose and lipids in animals, but accelerated the death of mice. The pharmacological effects produced by the two extracts of litchi nucleus were basically the same. Conclusion It was initially found that SL has a hypoglycemic effect similar to biguanide hypoglycemic agents, and it can regulate internal and exogenous dyslipidemia and also has antioxidative effect. Tip SL can be used to treat DM, but should be used with caution in patients with severe diabetes
