俑,古代殉葬用的陶制或木制的偶人,如秦兵马俑者流。妖,艳丽;妩媚。如妖娆;妖艳。唐玄应《一切经音义》卷一引《三苍》:“妖,妍也。”《玉篇·女部》:“妖,媚也。”三国魏·曹植《美女篇》“美女妖且闲,采桑歧路间。”宋·苏轼《牡丹记叙》:“盖此花见重于世三百余年,穷妖极丽,以擅天下之观美。”“俑”的名词化语用和“妖”的形容词表语化,构成了袁耀敏近年来油画作品特殊的视觉语言意象,因而这两个意象也顺乎本文独立的阐释
