In order to improve the accuracy of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) typing, we used chloracetic acid AS-D and naphthol α-butyrate for double esterase staining (double staining) to detect 177 AML. The results are reported below. 1 Materials and Methods 1 1 Clinical Data 177 AML lines were diagnosed by morphological, peroxidase, α-acetic acid non-specific esterase, glycogen and other histochemical staining since 1989-09.
