内蒙古自治区昭乌达盟翁牛特旗桥头公社,1980年在严重干旱的自然条件下,全社5个大队1,029亩谷子平均亩产达834.7斤。其中李家营子东队30亩,亩产达1,002.5斤。1981年11,142亩谷子示范田,在连续干旱的情况下,仍创造了昭盟地区有史以来大面积丰产纪录,平均亩产506.4斤,有百亩高产田平均亩产1,005.5斤。两年来的丰产实践证明,谷子要高产,狠抓全苗、壮苗是关键措施。 1.整地保墒。丰产示范田全部进行秋深翻、平高垫低,早春汇地,待地表稍干,机播地块每亩撒施有机肥5,000~6,000斤。耙耢保墒,使土壤细碎,以利于提高出苗率。保墒较差地块,出苗率80%,采取镇压提墒,坐水补种,缺苗断垄处两端丛留苗及移苗补栽等办法,也基本保证了全苗。
