超短波调频广播在我国是一件新的事业,第二个五年计划期间将大力发展。北京人民广播电台的一架试验性的超短波调频发射机,已经在今年元旦开始播音,这是我国兴建的第一座超短波调频广播电台。这座电台的设备是由广播科学研究所、北京广播器材厂和北京电视台联合设计安装的。在北京地区可以用电视接收机收听这个电台的节目。上海、南京等城市的超短波调频广播电台也正在建设中。什么是超短波调频广播,它有哪些优点呢? 我们知道,广播是通过无线电波来传送声音的,无线电波根据它的波段长短分为许多种类。我国的广播电台过去使用长波、中波和短波进行广播,其中用得最广泛的又是中波。中波频率共107个,目前全国各地广播电台使用的中波发射机,早已超过了107个频率,如果再加上邻近国家的广播电台使用的中波波段,更
