北朝隋唐均田制,是中国古代土地制度史上重要的一环。在此之前,为所谓的中古田制,国家政权对土地制度或有立法,或极力进行行政干预;在此之后,则基本上是“田制不立”、“不抑兼并”。北朝隋唐以前的各种田制,因年代久远,传世文献资料很少,出土文书不多,抑或制度本身不系统,多数已难究其详。与此前的各种田制相比,介绍均田制的传世文献资料不算太少,但仅靠史书记载的文献资料仍无法回答均田制研究中提出的诸多关键问题:
The Northern Dynasties’ supremacy system in the Sui and Tang dynasties was an important part of the history of the ancient Chinese land system. Prior to this, for the so-called Middle-earth system, the state power has legislation on the land system or attempts to exert great administrative interference. After that, the state power is basically “unmanaged system” and “uncooperative”. Before the Sui and Tang dynasties, the various fields were far from old because of the passage of time. Few documents were handed down from the North, there were not many unearthed documents, or the system itself was not systematic. Compared with the various fields before, there are not too few handed down documents about the uniform land system. However, the historical data alone still can not answer many key questions raised in the study of land cover:
