某些化合物经紫外光照射,能产生一定强度的荧光。在一定的浓度范围内,若紫外光的强度保持不变,则荧光强度和化合物的浓度成正比。这种借测量被紫外光照射时所产生的荧光强度以决定物质浓度的方法,称为荧光分析法。所用仪器称为荧光计。荧光分析发展到现在,已被广泛地应用于工业,农业,医药卫生和科学研究各个领域之中。可以用荧光分析鉴定和测定的有机物,无机物,生物物质,药物等的数目与日俱增,荧光分析已成为分析化学中的一种重要分析方法。
