During the May 4th Movement, humanism swept the whole of China and localized this kind of “human literature” to form the deep ideological connotation of modern Chinese works. Under the historical background of anti-imperialism and anti-feudalism, writers formed a unique cognitive perspective on the pursuit of human personality and rights and their consideration of human nature and desire. Humanism at this time is diverse and the most attractive. We can roughly divide it into rational humanism and sensual humanism. And “sensibility” and “sensibility” are embodied in the works of Lu Xun and Yu Dafu. Therefore, we explore the difference of their humanism from the novels of Lu Xun and Yu Dafu to see the leopard and feel the enlightenment thought of the 20th century Great. This article will proceed from the common humanism and humanitarianism of the two, and gradually analyze “the style, image, connotation and perspective of the two works even if they are both represented at the same time.”
