Virtual plants are a potential and powerful aid to plant analysis, and single-plant growth simulation is the basis of forest ecosystem modeling. In order to dynamically simulate the growth and development of Chinese fir, a method of parameterizing the three-dimensional morphological structure of the individual wood and the integrated method of single-tree growth model independent of the distance is proposed. The main process is as follows: Firstly, according to the morphological characteristics of Chinese fir, Modeling method to establish a three-dimensional static model of a specific growth stage; secondly, according to the growth model, the tree height, DBH, branch height and branch number of different age fir are predicted and linked with the geometrical description parameters of 3D static model; finally, Parameter curve was used to adjust the morphological parameters such as stem diameter and branch diameter, branch length and branch angle so that the shape of the model changed with the increase of tree age. Based on the self-developed Para Tree system, the dynamic simulation model of Chinese fir was expanded. The second type of survey data of Wuyi Forest Farm in Zhangping, Fujian Province was taken as an example to simulate the dynamic growth of Chinese fir. The simulation results show that this method can intuitively express the average growth status and general morphological characteristics of individual trees in the stand. The combination of tree 3D model description parameters with traditional tree-based statistical growth models facilitates the deposition of large numbers of growth models for reuse in the forestry sector.
