在新建铁路中,大量建造拱涵。以皖赣线我处管段103公里为例,就建有117座拱涵,这种涵洞可用于排洪,也可用于人行交通,或两者兼用,具有空间大,不需使用钢材等优点。但是,混凝土拱圈的开裂却相当普遍,甚至有些刚拆模就发现裂纹,也有在未填土、填土中和填土后开裂的。高填土的有裂纹,低填土的也有裂纹(后者数量较小),因而有“十拱九裂”之说,虽为夸张之词,但开裂总数,也不下半数。这种裂纹给施工单位带来心理的不安
