英语已经成为高职院校学生的必修课之一。学生参加PETS(全国英语等级考试)的通过率不仅检验高职院校课程的教学质量,也关系着能否培养出适应经济发展所需的应用型人才。以江苏省南通商贸高等职业学校为例,对学生参加全国英语等级考试的成绩进行了统计分析,探讨提高PETS通过率的对策。
English has become one of the compulsory courses for students in higher vocational colleges. The passing rate of students to PETS (National English Proficiency Test) not only tests the quality of teaching in higher vocational colleges, but also relates to the ability to cultivate the applied talents needed for economic development. Taking Nantong Vocational College of Commerce as an example, this paper conducts a statistical analysis on the scores of students participating in the National English Proficiency Test, and discusses the countermeasures to improve the adoption rate of PETS.
